As a Backend developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side operation and functionality of the website. Your main tasks will include developing and maintaining our database layer, APIs, and other web services. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in modern programming languages such as NodeJS, Ruby, JavaScript, PostgreSQL if experienced in setup infrastructure through AWS, Azure, GCP would be a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Design and implementation of data storage solutions
- Setup and configuration linux server
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information System, or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience in relevant areas
- Strong knowledge of NodeJS, Ruby, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, SQL etc.
- Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
- Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
- Experienced in setup infrastructure through AWS, Azure, GCP
